Right. My good friend Pesky got back from his "holiday" stay in beautiful CFB Wainwright MB a little earlier than I thought he would have and we decided to go do some shooting. He bought a sweet rifle a while back and he hadn't had much of a chance to shoot it. So we went to Mission up in them thar hills and found a gravel pit which was pretty much COVERED in casings. No kidding. Never seen that many in my life. So naturally, we set up some targets and proceeded to add to the collection of casings. Someone actually brought an old teddy bear up there (ugliest damn thing you ever saw too, and damn huge!) so we sat it up against this metal plate thingy that was set up as an unofficial backboard and did some sweet target practice. I'm proud to say I scored the first headshot on that ugly little bugger. And after 140 rounds, there wasn't much metal left on the backboard. Fun was had by all, and we even managed to stay alive and well. Can't say as much for the bear but hey, life's tough right? Also, I didn't wear a shirt at all that day, so I actually got a tan a little. Anyways, good times. Shooting is very therapeutic...
Other than that, I'm doing a whole of nothing which is great. Vacations are awesome and I haven't had one in like... forever. Also I'm going camping like 5 times in the next month.
To sum it up; life is good.
